Numbered routes, e.g. 15 or 15L
Local routes provide service in higher density/urban areas. Due to urban growth, shifting boundaries, or District minimum ridership standards, these routes may also cross through areas of lower density. These routes stop an average of every 600 feet or no more than 1 or 2 blocks apart.
Limited routes provide service in higher density/urban areas, some may even cross all of the metro area. Compared to Local routes, these routes only make specific selected stops, usually high-volume transfer points or major traffic intersections. This allows for faster running times and for passengers to reach their destination quicker than riding the Local route.

Express routes provide service from high-transfer or high-density ridership locations such as
Park-n-Rides, to other points of high ridership such as the downtown Denver stations. These routes only make selected stops on the outer parts of their route. They collect passengers and then continue without stopping to their final destination.

Lettered routes, e.g. DD
Regional routes provide service from one urban area to another. These routes run the majority of their route on major traffic corridors such as highways or interstates. Regional service can act as a 'Local' route on the first part of a trip, collecting passengers on its way through town to a Park-n-Ride or station. It can also start at a
Park-n-Ride or station and then continue without any further stops to its final destination.

SkyRide buses depart from each SkyRide stop at least once an hour and as frequently as every 15 minutes. SkyRide buses operate seven days a week, 365 days a year.
View FREE MallRide schedule
The FREE MallRide travels over a mile from one end of Denver's bustling 16th Street Mall to the other. Stops are located at every intersection between RTD's Civic Center Station and Union Station.
