Pricing is determined by 2 factors:

  1. Location of the Business AND
  2. Total number of Full-Time Employees or Total number of Full and Part-Time Employees

Your contract is based on your total number of FT or FT/PT employees on your payroll, not on the total number of employees who will be riding.

Contract Minimums

A contract minimum applies to each new or renewed contract per year.

Put simply, if the total number of Full Time (or Full and Part Time) employees on your company payroll, multiplied by the per person rate based on your business SLA is LESS THAN the Contract Minimum, you pay the HIGHER amount.

If, however, the total number of Full Time(or Full and Part Time) employees on your payroll multiplied by the per person rate based on your business SLA is GREATER THAN the Contract Minimum, you pay that amount.

It is important to clarify that companies who end up paying a Contract Minimum still must pay for each additional employee added to payroll throughout the year if that employee increases the company headcount. A Contract Minimum does not mean you are entitled to “up to” the number of employees listed. It simply means that for the number of employees listed on your Contract Headcount you had to pay more than the per person rate for your SLA to obtain a contract.

It is also important to note that in most cases even the Contract Minimum amount is less expensive than having just one employee purchasing a monthly regional pass over the course of the year. Additionally, for the same amount as the single rider, you can add a benefit for other employees often for the same price.

Service Level Area (SLA) Defined

The SLA is determined by either the bus trips available to the business location between the peak hours of 7:00 – 8:00 a.m., or the geographical location of the business. There are four SLA categories:

  1. 1-24 Transit Trips - outer suburban
  2. 25+ Transit Trips - Downtown Boulder CBD, fringe Denver CBD, major tranit centers, and call-n-Ride service areas where connected to a major transit center
  3. Downtown Denver CBD
  4. DIA and home businesses

The chart below shows the price per employee/per year with the minimum contract amount for each SLA
