What is it?ValuPass 2004

The ValuPass is a series of 12 consecutive monthly passes which you purchase in advance, rather than month-by-month. You can save up to 8% on the cost of individually purchased monthly passes, and up to 17% off the regular cash fare. That means you can ride RTD buses and light rail for one year - and pay for just 11 months!

  • Ride one month for free.
  • Pay once and receive a monthly pass in the mail for the next 12 months.
  • Just show your pass to the driver instead of searching for exact change.

How does it work?

  1. Select the type of ValuPass and the month you would like to start from the attached Fare Chart.
  2. Determine the price category: Regular or Discount.
  3. Make full payment in advance to RTD. You may purchase the 12-month ValuPass any time during the year.
  4. No refunds are given for any reason, and you cannot change the service level or price category once you've purchased the ValuPass.

PaymentOptions

You can order your ValuPass by mail or purchase it at any RTD station.

In Person

RTD's ValuPass can be purchased directly at the following RTD locations:

  • Civic Center Station on the 16th Street Mall in Denver
  • Market Street Station on the 16th Street Mall in Denver
  • 14th and Walnut in Boulder
To start your ValuPass, simply complete the attached ValuPass Order Form* and submit it with your payment to an RTD sales representative at one of the stations by the 12th of the month. You will receive 12 passes by mail at your residence.

By Mail
  1. Print out and fill out the attached ValuPass Order Form, indicating the type of pass you want.*
  2. Mail the ValuPass Order Form and full payment to:

  3. Your monthly passes will be automatically mailed to your residence for 12 consecutive months.
  4. Please note that your order and your payment must be received by the 12th of the month to ensure your first pass delivery by the 1st of the following month.


* To receive a discounted pass, seniors 65 and older must show proof of age. When boarding, patrons with disabilities must show an RTD-issued ID or Medicare card, and students, ages 6-19 years must attend elementary, middle or high school and show a current student ID when boarding. For seniors or individuals with disabilities, a Special Discount Card may be obtained by calling 303.299.2667.
