Step 1: Find the call-n-Ride in your area.
call-n-Rides provide curb-to-curb transportation service that takes you anywhere you want to go within a designated service area. To determine if a call-n-Ride runs in your area, visit the call-n-Ride Homepage.
Step 2: Book your trip.
On the phone
Call the designated call-n-Ride phone number where your trip starts to book your trip. For same-day service, call at least one hour in advance. You can also schedule trips up to two weeks in advance. Recurring trips (same days and times) may be scheduled in advance with the call-n-Ride driver.
When scheduling your trip, provide your name, date of travel, departure location, destination and desired arrival or depature time. Drivers may combine individual trip requests to create shared rides. Drivers will provide you with an estimated time of arrival. Service is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be ready at least five minutes before your scheduled pick-up time. If you need to cancel, please do so immediately.
Online
You can book your call-n-Ride trip online. You must log in or register to book a trip online. In order to register, you must have previously booked a trip directly with a call-n-Ride driver, providing your name and telephone number. Online trips must be booked at least 2 hours in advance and customers are limited to booking 4 one-way trips per day. Subscription trips can also be booked online. Online booking is currently available for the following call-n-Rides: Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Meridian, Orchard, Parker and South Inverness. Online booking for other call-n-Rides will be available in a few months.
Step 3: Pay your fare.
call-n-Ride service costs the same as a Local cash fare. There are a number of ways to pay your fare:
Cash
Exact change must be used when paying with cash. The driver will not make change. Please have your money ready before you board. Insert your money in the fare box next to the driver as you board.
Passes and Tickets
RTD passes and tickets are accepted on call-n-Ride.
Transfers
If you are transferring from another RTD service, use a transfer as credit towards your call-n-Ride fare. If you are connecting to another RTD service from call-n-Ride, ask your driver for a free transfer when you board. Use it as credit toward the fare of your conneting service.
