(1-888-783-8747)

Bring your vehicle's arrival time into focus with RTD's new Talk-n-Ride system. By calling 1-888-RTD-TRIP toll-free from any phone, you can use simple voice commands to get the predicted arrival time of RTD Busses and Light Rail Trains. Its as easy as 1-2-3:

Man on his cell phone

1. Route Number
Say, "Route __" Filling the blank in with your specific route.

For Light Rail, use route 101. This works with all routes, including local, express, regional, skyRide, and most special services such as the Skip, Jump, Leap, Bound, and BeeLine.

2. Direction
Say the direction you need to go, such as "Northbound" or "Southbound".

This works for all directions, including AM Bound, PM Bound, and Loop routes.

3. Stop
Say the name of one of the major stops on that route as published in the public timetable.
If you don't know a stop or the stop you are saying is not working, say "List Stops" and the system will list the stops in the way that they will be recognized.

The system will then offer you either real-time information for the next few vehicles, or you can search the schedule for any day/time. The commands here are either "real-time" or "scheduled".

Other Commands:

  • Help - Gives you help on how the system works and what your options are.
  • Operator - Transfers you to the RTD Customer Service Center, Staffed between the hours of 6AM-8PM Monday-Friday, and 9AM-6PM Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays.
  • Start Over - Takes you to the beginning of the system.
  • Back - Takes you back to the previous step to change your entry.
