  • Extends from downtown Denver to 70th Avenue
  • Hours of operation
    • weekdays
      southbound - 5-10 am; northbound - noon -3 am
    • weekends
      northbound only - noon Friday until 3 am Monday

  • Access points
    • north end - 70th Ave (from 70th); 58th Ave (from I-25 left lane)
    • south end - 20th & Blake; 16th Street (buses only)
  • Merge lanes for non-downtown traffic at 20th St.
    • allows traffic back onto I-25 for continuing trip
  • Includes emergency lane
    • allows emergency stopping and services without stopping traffic
  • Traffic Management System
    • overhead electronic signs
      information about entry and exit points, road conditions
    • access control gates
      • block entry lane when lanes are operating in the opposite direction
      • room for turn-around and return to I-25 if entered by mistake
    • video monitoring
      15 cameras monitor traffic, road conditions
