Race for the Cure

The 2016 Race for the Cure was September 25! With direct bus and rail service from stops across the metro area, RTD is the fastest way to get to the race. Keep checking back for more up-to-date information about the 2017 race.

Bus service for 2016 Race

Take RTD bus service directly to the Race for the Cure from four metro area Park-n-Rides. Starting at 6:00 am until 8:40 am, at most locations, RTD will provide special bus service to the Pepsi Center stop on Chopper Circle. Return bus trips will leave from the Tundra Lot at the Pepsi Center, at the corner of Chopper Circle and Speer Boulevard, when the bus is full. The last bus will leave at noon.

Pick up locations and fares are subject to change, pending finalization of 2016 Race for the Cure service.

* Discount fares are available for all seniors 65+, individuals with disabilities, Medicare recipients, elementary, middle school and high school students ages 6-19. Children 5 years of age or younger ride free with a paying adult. Active duty members of the U.S. Military ride for free on all RTD services. Proof of eligibility is required for all discounted passengers. Standard RTD passes, tickets, and transfers are not accepted for this special service.

Rail service for 2016 Race

Catch the C, E, or W lines to the Pepsi Center. The C line does not normally operate on weekends; however, special C, E, and W line service will be available on race day starting at 5:00 am with 15 minute service until the race ends at noon.

Participants can also take the D or H lines and transfer to the C or E lines at 10th & Osage station, or take the University of Colorado A Line or B Line and transfer to the C, E, or W lines at Union Station.

Light Rail Schedule for 2016 Race

The C, E and W lines will run every 15 minutes until 12:00 p.m. Your final destination will determine your fare.
