VanPool

If RTD's buses and trains are not the right transit solutions for you, why not try VanPool brought to you by RTD and the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG)

      VanPool is a group of 5-15 people who use a van to travel 15 or more miles to work together.  Usually the group members meet at a central location, like a shopping center, near their homes and catch the van to work.

      The minimum size VanPool to start is four people, three passengers and a driver and that number has to grow after three months to six people, five passengers and a driver.

      We (RTD and DRCOG) supply the van, fuel and maintenance in exchange for a monthly fare paid by the passengers.

VanPools offer:

• arrive at work on time, relaxed and ready to work
• guaranteed ride home
• some cost may be subsidized by employer
