Daryl Kinton of Englewood was elected to the Board of Directors of the Regional Transportation District in November of 2004. He represents District H, which includes all or parts of the communities of Englewood, Littleton, Cherry Hills Village, Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Columbine Vallley, and Lone Tree. He was elected to serve a four-year term.

Mr. Kinton is a Technical Consultant. Prior to operating his own firm, New Paradigms Consulting of Englewood, he was a Technical Consultant with IBM and the State of Colorado.

He has a Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Computer Science from Bradley University and a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology from Northern Illinois University. He is currently participating in the Graduate Urban Planning Program at the University of Colorado, Denver.

His professional activities include participation in numerous technical educational conferences, seminars and organizations. Mr. Kinton has also been active in grass-roots organizations promoting transit in the metro area. He is a member of the Arapahoe County Fair Board, the Keep Englewood Beautiful Commission and the Englewood Transportation Advisory Committee.

Mr. Kinton and his wife, Lori, have two daughters, Jaelyn and Kyli.
