Lee Kemp was elected to the Board of Directors for the Regional Transportation District in November of 2004.  He represents citizens in Boulder, Broomfield, Adams and parts of Weld Counties, and will serve District I for a four-year term.

Director Kemp is General Manager of Transit Products for Stewart & Stevenson, LLC.  He is a business degree candidate at Metropolitan State College of Denver.  He is active in civic and professional organizations, past Chair for the TRB (Transit Research Board) Transit Committee (APO 35) and is a member of the Bus Equipment and Maintenance Committee and the Clean Propulsion and Support Technology Committee for the American Public Transit Association (APTA).  His civic works include acting as a Victim Advocate for the Broomfield Police Department. He is a Board Member for Court-appointed Special Advocates for the 17th Judicial District.

Mr. Kemp and his wife, Julie, have three children, Melissa, Stacie and James.
