Bruce Daly is the Board Director for District N. District N encompasses western Jefferson County including the mountains and the bulk of the county's unincorporated south western area.
Director Daly was born and educated in England and emigrated to the U.S. in 1969. He was a typesetter in the printing business and as this evolved into computerized desk-top publishing he decided to try another career. He became an operator for R.T.D. in 1975. He retired from the District in 1995. During his period with R.T.D. he was active within the Amalgamated Transit Union and sat on many labor/management committees.
After retiring, Director Daly became active in local party politics and was involved in many campaigns. Never truly retired, Director Daly drove for the Call-n-Ride service in Evergreen and has been employed as a Sergeant-at-Arms in the Colorado Senate for four sessions.
He is married to Myrna and between them have four children and seven grandchildren.
