A ceramic tile wall mural is 50' x 7' and is installed inside the station between Gates 1 and 2. The mural, depicting two arms reaching out to shake hands, is made up of more than 3,500 tiles. Each handmade tile has an international person symbol glazed onto its surface depicting the physical and psychological diversity of RTD's passengers. The mural symbolizes the movement when a passenger is transformed, by a handshake, from an anonymous traveler into a unique person at the beginning or end of a journey.
