Bike to Work Day is June 28
Bikes are an integral part of Denver's transit system. They give you independence without a car and help make that first or final leg of your commute faster. RTD provides bike parking at most of our transit centers and allows bikes on nearly all of our vehicles. We believe in the combination of bikes and transit - and we're proud supporters of Bike to Work Day.
Show your support for bikes and transit and participate in Bike to Work Day on Wednesday, June 28. Register at biketoworkday.us for updates and information.
Join RTD on Bike to Work Day
Ride your bike to work and join RTD at Civic Center Park, Anschutz Medical Campus, or Union Station (near the light rail station) between 6:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. for some grub and great bike gear, while supplies last.
And, if your bike needs a quick mechanical check, our friends from Dong Ngo's Cycling Pals will be on hand at Union Station for safety checks and minor repairs to get you on your way!
Remember, bikes are welcome on nearly all RTD vehicles on a space-available basis. Be sure to stand with your bike in the Bike Zone located at either end of the light rail car. And when riding the University of Colorado A Line, be sure to securely strap your bike in the provided bike racks.
