How much does it cost?

All trips on the R Line are local fare $3.00. If your trip involves transferring to another train line, fares could be regional fare ($5.25) or airport fare ($10.50) depending upon your destination. Discount fares apply for those who are eligible.

If your travels take you beyond the R Line, you can purchase a Regional or Airport fare from ticket vending machines at any station along the R Line and transfer to another bus or train all with the same ticket. And don’t forget about RTD’s Local Day Pass and Regional/Airport Day Pass, offering unlimited single-day travel for one flat price. Discount fares apply for those who are eligible.

Buy Tickets and Day Passes

You can buy one-way tickets and Day Passes using cash, credit or debit at the ticket vending machines located at any RTD rail station. The Regional/Airport Day Pass is the same price ($10.50) as a one-way Airport ticket and grants unlimited travel on any RTD service for the remainder of the service day. Regional/Airport Day Pass ticket books may be purchased at any RTD Sales Outlet.

The RTD Mobile Ticketing app lets you buy and use Day Passes instantly on your smart phone! Buy tickets anytime and anywhere in just seconds. Simply download the app, purchase a pass before boarding a bus or train for the day or pre-purchase for future travel and you are on your way..

Monthly Pass

Take unlimited rides all month on the R Line with RTD's Monthly Pass. Travel to the Airport is included in the Regional/Airport Monthly Pass. Monthly Passes may be purchased at any RTD sales outlet, online, or at participating King Soopers and Safeway stores.

EcoPass and CollegePass

Service on the R Line is included with all EcoPass, CollegePass, and Neighborhood EcoPass cards, including service to Denver International Airport at no additional charge.
