RTD rang in the new year with Zero Fares and more than 48,000 customers made the decision to celebrate responsibly. RTD would like to give a big thanks to the many customers who made the holiday that much safer by choosing a safe ride home and opting to take advantage of zero fare transit on RTD. Molson Coors once again sponsored the successful event for the 14th year and there were an estimated 48,426 people who rode between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. on Dec. 31 into Jan. 1.
