A Line weekend service temporarily disrupted between Peoria and Denver Airport stations
A portion of the Regional Transportation District (RTD)’s A Line service will be supplemented by shuttle buses June 17-18 as lines are de-energized between Peoria and Denver Airport stations.
RTD will perform scheduled inspections and maintenance on the overhead electrical wires that power the agency’s commuter rail trains. The shutdown will also accommodate third-party work adjacent to the tracks at Denver Airport Station.
A Line trains will operate as scheduled between Peoria and Denver Union stations. Bus shuttle service will be offered between Peoria and Denver Airport Stations at the following locations:
Station Board Bus Shuttle
Peoria Gate E (this gate will also serve R Line bus shuttles)
40th Avenue and Airport•Gateway Park Gate A
61st•Peña Next to the platform
Denver Airport Gate 7
Rail service to the airport will resume Monday, June 19.
Customers are encouraged to use RTD’s Next Ride web app to plan their trip, view other options and receive Service Alerts. Plan ahead and prepare for extra time for bus shuttle transfers to or from the airport.
RTD thanks its customers for their patience as the agency works to make life better through connections.
