Moving forward in difficult times: Join our community dialogues in RTD's virtual town halls
It seems we are doing everything from home these days, and RTD’s virtual town halls are a way to be in two places at once – in your favorite chair while meeting with RTD’s leadership.
RTD has hosted these virtual events for several years, and this year’s events will provide you with the latest information on the agency’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic while we continue to operate service throughout the eight counties it serves within the Denver metro region.
RTD is adjusting daily in how we provide essential transit service and how we’re working to protect our customers and operators. As we evolve with this situation, your questions are changing as well. These virtual events help RTD dialogue with you, our community and answer questions in real time.
On these calls, we will cover topics such as RTD fares, which have been suspended temporarily; the new bus rear-door boarding procedure; and the ways we are encouraging social distancing with our passengers on board our vehicles.
We will also discuss RTD’s plan for recovery and how service will build back up as parts of the community begin to open, as well as how Reimagine RTD is changing along with the situation. One thing that hasn’t changed is our need for your feedback in the coming months. Be sure to check our website and social media channels.
