The Regional Transportation District (RTD) is committed to addressing safety on our system as the situation created by COVID-19 continues to evolve. With the need for social distancing on our vehicles, we have made modifications to our current service based on service needs.

Our street supervisors have been monitoring passenger loads across the system and working to minimize the number of passengers on vehicles. We will continue to make changes to service as needed. Passengers should check schedules for the latest information.

Route 15L: Weekday service will increase from every 15 minutes to every 7.5 minutes between approximately 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., and from every 30 minutes to every 15 minutes between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m., and between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. The increased frequency will be provided between Colfax/Billings and Decatur/Federal Station only; service east of Billings to Aurora Metro Center Station will remain unchanged.

Route 40: Weekday service will increase from every 30 minutes to every 15 minutes between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. between 40th & Colorado Station and Colorado Station. Service is already every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., which will remain unchanged.

Route 105: Weekday service will increase from every 30 minutes to every 15 minutes between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. between Central Park Station and Southmoor Station. Service is already every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., which will remain unchanged.

Route 121: Weekday service will be increased from every 30 minutes to every 15 minutes between 5:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. between Peoria Station and Nine Mile Station.

While RTD continues to make modifications to services and practices for the safety of our customers, we ask that you be our partner in safety by wearing a mask, only taking essential trips on transit, practicing proper hand hygiene and using good judgment before boarding a vehicle opting to take the next bus or train if one looks full.
