RTD seeks new members for Advisory Committee for People with Disabilities

Five positions are available, each for a two-year term; group helps bring changes to agency services, programs

Regional Transportation District (RTD) customers who are interested in helping bring positive changes to the transit agency’s services and programs, as well as strengthen its commitment to people with disabilities, are invited to apply to serve on the Advisory Committee for People with Disabilities (ACPD).

Five positions are now open on the 13-member committee, each for a two-year term. Applications can be submitted through the RTD website through the third week of July.

RTD is committed to providing excellent, safe and reliable transportation for all customers. ACPD members work with RTD and provide suggestions, ideas and feedback on issues and concerns related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The ACPD reports to an internal ADA steering committee, which meets on a quarterly basis.
