RTD Services Could be Affected Today by Forthcoming Blizzard Conditions

A blizzard warning for the Denver metro region could affect the Regional Transportation District's services today, and the public should turn to the transit agency’s communication platforms for the latest updates.

RTD is prepared for this spring storm, which is forecast to bring heavy snow, near- and below-freezing temperatures, and heavy wind. Heading into the afternoon and early evening hours, no weather-related issues or delays have been reported across the transit agency’s bus routes and rail lines.

As the day progresses and if conditions worsen, riders should plan for delays. Across the region, roads are expected to be wet, icy and packed with snow.

Travelers are asked to refrain from using public emergency telephones at stations to inquire about schedules and delays. Riders can obtain the latest information about service by visiting rtd-denver.com or by following RTD on Twitter.
