RTD to hold outreach events to promote safety and security during Zero Fare for Better Air month

RTD's Zero Fare for Better Air initiative continues into its second week.

Today, from 4-6 p.m., the agency is hosting a community outreach event at Union Station, Light Rail Track 12. RTD Transit Police and Denver Police be onsite to talk with customers about services, security and the Zero Fare initiative. Light refreshments, including iced tea and lemonade, will be served. Track 12 is located near the Chestnut Pavilion at the northern-most end of the Denver Union Station complex, where customers board RTD’s light rail lines.

Additional Coffee Chats are planned for the following locations:

  • Downtown Boulder Station—Thursday, Aug. 11 from 6-8 a.m.*
  • Federal Center Station—Tuesday, Aug. 16 from 6-8 a.m.
  • Aurora Metro Center Station—Wednesday, Aug. 24 from 6-8 a.m.

*Boulder Police will be present at the event on Aug. 11.
