RTD to hold virtual public meetings for proposed January 2022 service changes

RTD customers will have the opportunity to provide feedback about proposed service changes that will go into effect in January 2022. Three virtual public meetings will be held October 4 and 5.

This service change proposal will improve on-time performance, increase service reliability, and support modest increases in ridership.

The proposed changes will further modify the current COVID-19 service plan that has been in place since April 2020. Many of the routes proposed for service improvements serve vulnerable communities that rely on transit.

In addition to these service changes, RTD will continue to monitor routes and make ongoing adjustments to accommodate changes in ridership. Customers must also continue to wear masks, which is a federal requirement, through Jan. 18, 2022.
