RTD unveils parade bus in Denver St. Patrick's Day Parade

On Saturday, March 11, RTD debuted its new parade bus as part of the 61st annual Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade in front of thousands of spectators. The parade is one of the largest of its kind in the United States. This year’s parade featured nearly 120 parade entrants, including first-time participant RTD. Over a dozen RTD staff members participated in the parade, walking alongside the bus while celebrating transit and Irish heritage.

The parade bus is artfully wrapped in a decal that represents the diverse community that RTD serves.

When it is not participating in parades, the parade bus will be rolling around the district in regular service.

Customers can watch a video of the parade bus getting a makeover on RTD’s YouTube channel.
