Take the W Line to Echo Mountain's new shuttle buses

Echo Mountain, located under the watchful gaze of Mt. Evans in Idaho Springs, has announced a new partnership with Ride Experiences to provide weekend shuttle service between the mountain and RTD’s Jefferson County Government Center•Golden Station. This new service provides those looking to get their powder turns on another way to beat weekend ski traffic, with the opportunity to leave the car at home entirely via a short trip on the W Line.

The shuttles will run every Friday through Sunday through the end of the season and operate on a reservation-only basis, so customers are advised to purchase tickets in advance through Echo Mountain’s website to secure a spot, as capacity on the shuttles is limited. Tickets can only be bought one-way, so don’t forget to book the return trip as well. Schedule information can be found below.

Shuttle from JeffCo Government Center•Golden Station to Echo Mountain:

  • Fridays and Saturdays: 9 a.m., 1 p.m., and 5 p.m.
  • Sundays: 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Shuttle from Echo Mountain to JeffCo Government Center•Golden Station:

  • Fridays and Saturdays: 11:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m.
  • Sundays: 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

With the shuttles servicing Jefferson County Government Center/Golden Station, customers can leave the car at home by catching the westbound W Line at Union Station, or at any one of the 14 stations along the line. Skis and snowboards are allowed on RTD trains but must not impede walkways. W Line schedules can be found here. Don’t forget to mask up!
