Each month we highlight a bus or train operator for their exceptional customer service. This month we’re featuring bus driver Arturo Sigala.

“Blind or sight-limited people with guide dogs are heavy users of public transportation and puppy raising clubs strive to prepare our dogs by exposing them to these kinds of environments. Tuesday evening our Guide Dogs for the Blind (puppy raising club) took four puppies on an RTD bus-training ride. We rode the 402L in Highlands Ranch between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and had a very worthwhile experience. We want to recognize our driver, Arturo, who was most helpful and courteous as he guided us through bus entry and exit, and helping our puppies get settled. Please see that Arturo is recognized for his contributions to our program.
After receiving the commendations, we wanted to know more about Aurturo, and he agreed to answer a few of our questions.
