Here's how we're keeping everyone safe

Cleaning Icon We're Cleaning and Sanitizing

  • All vehicles are being cleaned every day per recommendations from the CDC and state and local public health agencies. Our cleaning priorities include wiping down surfaces, hand railings, hand grips, and common areas.
  • We are using electrostatic cleaning devices to clean vehicles, which helps distribute cleaner over larger areas.

Social Distancing icon We're Practicing Social Distancing

  • Staff is monitoring passenger loads across the system and working to minimize the number of passengers on vehicles.
  • We request that all passengers follow the 6-foot separation guidelines recommended by public health agencies.

On-Vehicle Safety icon We're Limiting Passengers Per Vehicle

  • Extra buses are staged along routes that are experiencing more ridership and are dispatched as necessary to help maintain vehicle passenger limits of 15 passengers on standard buses and 20 passengers on larger buses.
  • We’re adding buses on some of our busiest routes as more people return to work and move around the region.
  • We're limiting capacity to approximately 30 passengers on rail cars.
  • We continue to monitor routes and adjust service to ensure space on vehicles.
  • We ask that passengers use their judgment when boarding and take another vehicle or less utilized route when possible.

Bus safety icon We're Taking On-Vehicle Safety Precautions

  • We distributed thousands of masks and face coverings to employees.
  • We installed clear polycarbonate shields to create distance between drivers and passengers on all buses. Train operators are in a closed cab.
  • Patrons at Civic Center Station and Union Station bus concourse should board the first available bus to their destination and limit the time they spend in the facility to no more than 10 minutes.

We're here and we're ready,

whenever you're ready,

to hop back on board.
