Every day, activities such as traffic patterns, economic factors, ridership, and customer feedback affect our transit system. We evaluate service and propose changes to maximize resources, reduce duplication, and make better connections. Like many transit systems, we are facing challenges from COVID-19 including significantly-reduced ridership compared to traditional levels, vehicle capacity challenges and budget shortfalls. As a result, the below service changes are proposed to take effect June 13, 2021, and RTD will conduct three (3) virtual public meetings to present the details of the proposed service changes and provide an opportunity for public comment.
