How CollegePass works
- All students pay a nominal fee each academic term.
- Through a campus-wide election by the student government, students vote in favor of enrolling in CollegePass.
- Once a college is enrolled, students receive a photo ID CollegePass smart card to ride RTD services.
- Pricing structure is based on student survey results.
All participating colleges receive free Local, Limited, Express, and Regional bus service, light rail service in all fare zones, and free SkyRide service bus service to DIA, except Auraria Campus and Colorado School of Mines where a $5.00 credit is applied toward the SkyRide fare. CollegePass is not valid on special services, including but not limited to Access‑a‑Ride, BroncosRide, BuffRide, RockiesRide, RunRide, Saturday Shopper, and SeniorRide.
