How to add The RTD Bulletin to your Home Screen
Learn how to add The RTD Bulletin to your device’s home screen. Find your respective platform’s instructions below:
Android
- Open The RTD Bulletin in Google Chrome
- Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top right corner
- Tap Add to Home screen
- Rename to “The RTD Bulletin” when prompted
- Tap “Add”
The shortcut will now appear on your home screen. Users can reposition the shortcut anywhere on their home screen or tap on it to open the website in their default web browser.
For users using Firefox on an Android phone, the steps to add a website shortcut are identical. On Microsoft Edge, tap the three horizontal lines in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen to open the menu, then select “Add to Phone.” As with Chrome, the website shortcut can be renamed in both Firefox and Microsoft Edge.
iOS (Apple)
- Open The RTD Bulletin in Safari
- Tap the “Share” icon (the square with an arrow pointing up out of it) at the bottom of the screen
- Scroll down to the list of actions and tap “Add to Home Screen”
- Note: If you don't see the action, scroll to the bottom and tap “Edit Actions,” then tap “Add” next to the “Add to Home Screen” action
- Rename to “The RTD Bulletin” when prompted
- Tap “Add” in the top-right corner of the screen
The link should now appear in the next available space on the home screen. To move it, tap and hold the icon until all icons begin to shake, then drag it to the new desired position.
