Ride RTD to the Broncos’ regular season kickoff this Sunday

DENVER (Sept. 14, 2026) –– 《 区域交通局（RTD） expects an increase in ridership during the Broncos’ first regular season game on Sunday, Sept. 20, at Empower Field at Mile High. The stadium’s close proximity to several bus stops and rail stations makes public transit a safe and convenient way for football fans to attend the game.

Broncos fans: Make game day travel easier with the new RTD NextRide app. Plan your trip, purchase fares, track your bus or train in real time, check Service Alerts, and report security concerns – all in one convenient place.

Using NextRide’s trip planner is simple: just enter “Broncos” as your destination. The app will display all available transit options from your current location to Empower Field, including train lines, bus routes, and scheduled departure times. 

铁路服务
Before and after the game, RTD will offer regularly scheduled service on the C, E, and W lines, which serve Empower Field at Mile High Station, as well as A, B, G, and N lines, which provide service to Denver Union Station. The agency plans to add rail cars to the C, E, W, and N lines to accommodate expected increased ridership.

公交服务
Several local bus routes are available to accommodate customers attending the football game. Bus routes operating in the vicinity of Empower Field at Mile High include Route 30 (South Federal Boulevard) and Route 31 (North Federal Boulevard), as well as Routes 1, 15L, 16, and 31.

Bus and light rail services continue to operate at the Decatur-Federal light rail station. However, the Decatur-Federal Park-n-Ride lot closed on Sept. 1, 2026. RTD is no longer affiliated with this parking lot.
