Pride Month is observed in June globally and marks the anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising of 1969. RTD is committed to ensuring that its public transportation services are accessible for all individuals, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation. Learn about local events to celebrate this month and look for the RTD Pride bus at the Vizzy Denver Pride Parade later this month.

New name, same terrific service – take a FreeRide

RTD is renaming its 16th Street Free MallRide as the 16th Street FreeRide to align with Denver’s recent rebrand of the transitway as 16th Street. Like RTD’s original Free MallRide service, which launched in 1982, the new FreeRide will be offered at no cost to customers. The shuttle will continue to operate seven days a week on 16th Street between Union Station and Curtis Street and detour onto 15th and 17th streets to support completion of the city’s 16th Street reconstruction project. RTD seeks input on the proposed CO 119 Diagonal Flyer service. The Route BOLT between Boulder and Longmont is expanding in 2027 to become a Bus Rapid Transit service. Customers can provide input about the service by June 30. Learn more.
