Bus shuttles temporarily replacing RTD’s light rail service between Florida and Southmoor stations during overhead wire work

DENVER (Oct. 15, 2025) –– The Regional Transportation District (RTD) is conducting overhead wire repair work near Dayton Station along the H and R lines. During the two-day maintenance window, crews will replace sections of the overhead wires that provide power to RTD’s light rail trains.

H Line

• Bus shuttles will temporarily replace H Line service between Florida and Southmoor stations.
• Customers can transfer to the E Line at Southmoor Station to continue into downtown Denver.
  

R Line

• R Line service will continue running between Peoria and Florida stations.
• Customers traveling southbound can use the bus shuttle to Southmoor Station and transfer to an E Line train.
• Customers traveling northbound should utilize E Line trains between Lincoln and Southmoor stations, transfer to the bus shuttles at Southmoor Station and then connect to the R Line at Florida Station.

Customers impacted by the temporary disruption are encouraged to use RTD’s Next Ride app, sign up for Service Alerts or call Customer Care at 303.299.6000 to receive information or plan a trip. RTD staff has been dispatched to the impacted stations to assist customers during the service disruption.
