Frequency on trains on RTD's E and H Lines impacted through Monday due to a disabled train
Customers should plan ahead and sign up for service alerts
DENVER (Jan. 26, 2024) — The Regional Transportation District (RTD) is currently experiencing reduced frequency on the E and H light rail lines due to a disabled train between Southmoor and Yale stations. Trains are operating on a 45-minute frequency between trips.
Trains are moving on a single track through the area between these stations. Boarding at affected stations for E and H Line service is on the northbound track. RTD’s regularly scheduled service on the E and H lines will continue to be affected through Monday, Jan. 29, or until service can be restored to both tracks. To accommodate customers attending downtown events Saturday night, RTD will increase capacity on E and W light rail trains by adding extra train cars.
RTD thanks its customers for their patience. Customers should anticipate delays and are encouraged to explore alternate routes on the RTD website if their trips are affected. Use RTD’s Next Ride web app to plan your trip. Customers are also encouraged to sign up for Service Alerts to receive updates on any changes to service.
