Front Range Passenger Rail (FRPR) launches alternatives analysis online open house
The Colorado Department of Transportation and Front Range Passenger Rail (FRPR) District are exploring options to bring passenger rail service to the Front Range.
From Monday, May 12 to Sunday, June 15, 2025, visit the Front Range Passenger Rail (FRPR) Alternatives Analysis Online Open House. This is a self-guided opportunity to learn about the recommended alternative, what full service could look like by 2045, and expected train frequency, travel times and top speeds. The public can provide comments that will help shape future planning decisions.
FRPR's Alternatives Analysis is a part of the Service Development Plan and required by the Federal Railroad Administration to advance service planning.
The FRPR Online Open House is open until June 15.
