DENVER (Oct. 8, 2025) –– The Regional Transportation District (RTD)is taking steps to support an expected increase in ridership during the Paul McCartney concert at Coors Field on Saturday, Oct. 11. The venue’s close proximity to numerous rail lines and bus routes at the nearby Denver Union Station makes taking public transit a safe and convenient way to attend the event. Download RTD’s Next Ride app and type “Paul McCartney Concert” as your destination, and RTD will plan a custom trip from wherever you are in the metro area.

Before and after the 7:30 p.m. concert, RTD will add train cars to regularly scheduled service on the D, E and W lines, which directly serve Union Station. Buses and trains will operate scheduled Saturday service. With large crowds expected in downtown Denver for the concert at Coors Field, a Colorado Avalanche game at Ball Arena and the Great American Beer Festival at the Colorado Convention Center, RTD encourages customers to plan ahead for final bus and train service.
