RTD to host storytime on the train for families
RTD is inviting families to climb aboard the L Line for a special Storytime on the Train event Wednesday, July 23, from 10 to 11 a.m. Children can enjoy live readings of train-themed books by RTD staff, all while experiencing the light rail loop in a new and engaging way.
Attendees should arrive at 30th • Downing Station by 9:50 a.m. for check-in. The L-Line Loop will return to 30th • Downing by 11 a.m. Children ride free, but parents and guardians are required to purchase fare. Families are encouraged to pre-register here to reserve a first come, first served spot.
The event builds on the success of past RTD community programs, including collaborative storytimes with local libraries and the popular Introvert Book Club. By pairing literacy with public transportation, RTD aims to foster learning, fun and confidence for Denver’s youngest transit enthusiasts.
Customers can see all upcoming activities, including RTD at the Library programming on the community calendar at rtd-denver.com.
