RTD to offer temporary bus shuttle service May 14-16 for E and H lines between Louisiana•Pearl and Southmoor stations
The Regional Transportation District (RTD)will perform necessary maintenance that will impact light rail service on the E and H lines between Louisiana•Pearl and Southmoor stations Tuesday, May 14, through Thursday, May 16.
During the three-day period, crews will replace overhead wires at Colorado Station beginning Tuesday, May 14. Regular service on the E and H lines will resume on Friday, May 17.
E and H Line trains will not operate on their regular routes during the project. E Line service will run as normal between Louisiana•Pearl and Union stations, and on 30-minute frequencies between Southmoor and RidgeGate Parkway Station. No H Line service will run north of Southmoor Station. Customers can transfer to the D Line at I-25•Broadway Station for travel to Downtown Denver or to an E Line for travel to Union Station. H Line service will run on 30-minute frequencies between Southmoor and Florida stations.
Boarding for bus shuttles will take place at the following gates:
Louisiana•Pearl Station – Gate B
University of Denver Station – Gate B
Colorado Station – Northbound Gate E, Southbound Gate C
Yale Station – Gate A
Southmoor Station – Gate A
Customers whose trips are impacted by the temporary rail disruption are encouraged to use RTD’s Next Ride web app to plan a trip using alternate bus routes and see bus and train locations in real time. Customers are also encouraged to sign up for Service Alerts for specific route information.
