
Some RTD buses to experience temporary detours, delays during March 14 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Denver
DENVER (March 13, 2026) –– Some Regional Transportation District (RTD) bus service will experience detours in downtown Denver from 3 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, March 14, due to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Rail service will not be affected.
The parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Coors Field parking lot on 19th and Wynkoop streets and continues along Wynkoop to 17th Street, where it proceeds to Blake Street and ends at 27th and Blake. Bus services that operate along the following roads will be affected:
- Blake Street between 17th and 27th streets
- 17th Street between Blake and Wynkoop streets
- Wynkoop Street between 17th and 19th streets
The following bus routes will have a minor detour around the event: 0, 1, 8, 9, 10, 15, 19, 20, 28, 38, 44, 48, 52, 120X and FF1
Customers using routes affected by the parade should expect delays and detours, which may affect scheduled connecting bus and rail trips. Check the RTD website before traveling for schedules and to Plan a Trip.
