History of RTD Ride

In celebration of Bike Month, RTD, in collaboration with Colorado History Rides, is hosting a transit-themed bike ride with various stops around the city of Denver on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. Each stop will include time for history facts and questions presented by RTD and Colorado History Rides representatives.

The route, beginning and ending at Civic Center Park, is 6 miles and expected to take 1.5 hours. Stops along the route include Bannock Street, Hotel Teatro, Denver Tramway Company Powerhouse, Denver Union Station, RTD Headquarters, Denver City Railway, Civic Center Station and Colorado State Capitol.
