National Western Stock Show Kick-Off Parade

The National Western Stock Show Kick-Off Parade is taking place Thursday, January 8, 2026. Steers, horses, and performers will be stepping off at high noon for a stroll down 17th Street in Downtown Denver.

RTD Impact Team members will be on-site at Denver Union Station before and after the parade to assist customers taking transit. Multiple rail lines (A, B, G, N, W, and E) and bus routes (MetroRide, FreeRide, 0, 10, 15, and FF) are served by Union Station, making it easy for RTD customers to leave their cars at home. The most iconic views of the parade are seen at the intersection of Wynkoop and 17th streets.
