Wednesday marks 10 years of the A Line – more than 59M customers have enjoyed the ride

RTD is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the A Line on Wednesday, the metro area’s first commuter rail service known as the Train to the Plane. The A Line operates from Denver Union Station to Denver International Airport (DEN) providing customers with fast, reliable connections to domestic and international travel. Ridership along the A Line’s 23-mile track surpassed all other RTD rail services in 2025 and 59 million customers have come aboard the train since it debuted.
