Downtown Rail Reconstruction Project enters next phase in June

RTD will begin the next phase of the Downtown Rail Reconstruction Project on June 7 to replace some of the agency’s oldest rail infrastructure and strengthen long-term system reliability. Construction will take place along Colfax Avenue between Seventh and Ninth streets, as well as in midblock sections within the Downtown Loop. While no full road closures are planned, regular light rail service will be affected. Learn how rail service, bus connections, and alternative travel options will help customers stay moving during construction.
