RTD-PD has launched a new safety initiative to increase officer presence and provide more customer support across the transit system. The Bus and Rail Impact Team (BRIT) deploys RTD-PD officers to locations identified through security-related data to conduct focused patrols and support high-volume event security. 

Each May, RTD recognizes Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month. This year’s theme, “Power in Unity: Strengthening Communities Together,” looks beyond individual contributions and instead considers the collective force that has shaped generations — through resilience, advocacy, and shared purpose.
