RTD Transit Police assist Atlanta transit agency with patrols during World Cup games

RTD-PD

The RTD Transit Police (RTD-PD) is assisting the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) Police Department by deploying officers during the 2026 FIFA World Cup games. RTD-PD responded to MARTA’s request for additional support to help ensure community safety during the world’s largest sporting event.
