July 2, 2026, marks the 62nd anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, a landmark law that transformed our nation by prohibiting discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, age, or national origin. The Civil Rights Act continues to guide the work of public agencies across the country, including RTD.
