RTD offers easy transit to the Broncos’ game against the Rams this Sunday

DENVER (Sept. 24, 2026) –– The Regional Transportation District (RTD) encourages fans attending Sunday’s Denver Broncos game against the Los Angeles Rams to use bus and rail service to travel to and from Empower Field at Mile High. The game begins at 6:20 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27.

RTD will provide regularly scheduled bus and rail service, with additional rail cars planned on several lines to accommodate large crowds expected before and after the game. Customers should plan ahead and allow extra time when traveling through Empower Field at Mile High Station, Decatur-Federal Station, and Denver Union Station.

Rail service

RTD plans to operate additional rail capacity on the C, E, and W lines which serve Empower Field at Mile High Station, providing direct access to the stadium.

Customers traveling through Denver Union Station can connect to the A, B, G, and N lines. Additional capacity is planned on the N Line.

Following the game, customers should expect crowded platforms and trains and allow additional time to board. RTD will display information about the final scheduled trains at stations. Check the RTD website or NextRide app for service times.

The final scheduled southbound trips from Empower Field at Mile High Station are:

  • E Line: 11:31 p.m. Southbound, 11:56 p.m. Northbound
  • C Line: 11:49 p.m. Northbound, 11:53 p.m. Southbound
  • W Line: 11:59 p.m. Eastbound, 11:26 p.m. Westbound

Customers connecting at Denver Union Station should check schedules before traveling to ensure connections with their final train.

Bus service

Several bus routes provide service in the vicinity of Empower Field at Mile High, including Routes 1, 15L, 16, 30, and 31.

Customers can also use the Flatiron Flyer and local bus Routes 0, 9, 10, 15, 20, and 32 to connect with rail service at Denver Union Station.

Bus service may be crowded before and after the game. Customers should check schedules and Service Alerts before traveling.

Parking

RTD’s Park-n-Rides provide convenient access to reach the game by public transit. A full list of Park-n-Rides across the metro area is available online.

The Decatur-Federal Park-n-Ride lot closed Sept. 1, 2026, and RTD is no longer affiliated with or responsible for that parking lot. Bus and light rail service continue to operate at Decatur-Federal Station.

Helpful tips

Be patient and prepare for large crowds, including on platforms, trains, and buses.

Use the RTD NextRide app to plan a trip, purchase fares, track buses and trains in real time, and receive service information.

Skip ticket vending machine lines by purchasing a Day Pass through the NextRide app or using Tap-n-Ride. Customers can tap a Visa or Mastercard credit, debit, or prepaid card, or a mobile wallet, directly on a validator to pay the fare.

Follow directions from RTD staff and law enforcement personnel at stations and allow pedestrians to clear platforms and station areas.

For additional route and schedule information, customers can call RTD Customer Care at 303.299.6000. For Spanish, press 1. For all other languages, press 8 and tell the agent which language is needed. Translation support is available in more than 200 languages. Agents are available 6 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturdays. Customer Care is closed on Sundays.
