RTD is prepared for expected demonstrations this weekend. Agency staff will actively monitor events in real time to support public safety and, to the greatest extent possible, minimize service disruptions. RTD’s primary goal is to ensure its customers and employees are able to safely connect to their destinations before, during, and after all planned and unplanned events. Customers should look to RTD resources to be ready.

Last week, construction crews began welding rail at the Kalamath Street crossing as part of the agency’s Downtown Rail Reconstruction Project (DRRP). See the sparks fly and learn about thermite welding on the project.
