Metro area events are planned for Independence Day – RTD is ready

RTD will add extra train cars to D, E, H, W, and L light rail lines from Friday through Sunday to accommodate Independence Day weekend festivities. Customers are advised that on July 4, bus and rail services will operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule. Read more to plan ahead.

Progress continues on East Colfax BRT with visible changes along the corridor

RTD, the City and County of Denver, and project partners continue to advance the East Colfax Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project, with construction underway between Broadway and Fairfax Street. This month the project reaches a key milestone, as crews shift operations to the north side of Colfax, marking the start of Phase 2 for Segment 1(Broadway to Williams Street). The York Station arch—the fourth installed on the corridor—continues to signal visible progress. The community is invited to a watch party hosted by the project team 8 - 10 p.m., July 14, at Bruz Off Fax. Neighbors are encouraged to continue supporting local businesses that remain open during construction. Learn more.
