CDOT invites public comment on I-25 safety improvements that would affect Route 120X service to Thornton Park-n-Ride
RTD Staff
In 2024, the Colorado Department of Transportation solicited public feedback about I-25 between US 36 and 104th Avenue. Top priorities shared by respondents focused on improving traffic flow and safety. The project team incorporated public input to propose roadway, transit and pedestrian/bike improvements, and is now seeking public feedback.
The proposed actions include removal of bus ramps from I-25 to the Thornton Park-n-Ride, which would necessitate discontinuance of RTD Bus Route 120X service to this Park-n-Ride.
RTD customers who utilize Route 120X at the Thornton Park-n-Ride are encouraged to share their comments on the proposed action and ideas on transit improvements. For more information and to take the survey, click here.
