Happy Thanksgiving from RTD!

Julia Dambekaln

This Thanksgiving, all of us at RTD want to extend our sincere gratitude to you, our customers. Each year brings new opportunities to enhance service and strengthen the connections that make public transit an essential part of daily life. Your continued support makes this work possible, and we are truly grateful.

This season also provides a moment to honor one of Denver’s most enduring symbols of generosity: “Daddy” Bruce Randolph. For decades, restaurant owner Daddy Bruce dedicated himself to ensuring that anyone in need could enjoy a warm Thanksgiving meal. What began as handing out meals to people in City Park grew into a tradition that fed thousands. His legacy lives on today with the annual Denver Feed-a-Family event, carrying forward his vision of service and goodwill.

RTD recognizes the powerful role that individuals like Daddy Bruce play in strengthening our community. As a public transit agency, RTD shares in that mission by helping you reach your destinations and celebrate the moments that matter most. The agency also thanks its operators, mechanics, cleaners, and every employee who works to keep the system moving all year long.

RTD wishes you a safe, healthy, and happy Thanksgiving as you gather to celebrate with family and friends this holiday season.
